We spent this last weekend celebrating our Ladybug. I can't believe she is already 7 years old. It seems unreal and I am so glad we were able to spend the whole weekend celebrating 7 wonderful years.
Friday was her class party and dinner at Hubbin's parents. I got to deliver her treats and spend sometime in class, which is always a total blast. She is always so proud to hand out her cupcakes, but having her class sing to her is by far the highlight.
At her grandparents, we had pizza, presents and goofing off.
Daddy has mad skills. LOL
Saturday morning started with breakfast in bed per the birthday girl's request. Of course, it was our traditional cupcake breakfast and she loved every moment of it. We also let her open presents in bed too.
I love how she gets soooo excited over each present, but the purse from Jozy was the clear winner. Ladybug has been asking for a big girl purse and wallet for her mommy. I was so proud that Jozy remembered and was determined to get it for her. Our girls sure do love each other something fierce.
After breakfast we got ready, and headed down to the children's museum for some play fun.
The dress up area is by far the girls' favorite area to play in and I love watching their imaginations soar.
They also had this really cool airplane set up and tower. It was so much fun watching the girls chat with Daddy in the tower. They avoid a couple accidents.
After the children's museum, we meant up with their aunt and cousins at the pumpkin patch. Picking our carving pumpkin on Bug's birthday is a family tradition.
Ellie and Button are best friends.
After all the fun, we loaded up and headed to Power to celebrate with my side of the family. There were kiddos running every where, lots of laughter, games, presents and tons of love. Ladybug girl had the very best time and was spoiled rotten.
We ended her birthday weekend fun with lunch at Applebee's and letting her spend the birthday money. It was the perfect end to the most amazing weekend celebrating the most amazing seven year old.

Happy birthday, baby girl!
I can't believe we are about to celebrate 7 years of your life! It seems so unreal and exciting. You are such a bright shinning star and so very smart. Your love of God, family and all things living is stunning. I have said it before, but its still so very true, you baby girl have a heart of gold. You are also a leader, or will be one day. You just need to learn how to hone those skills a little more.
This last year has been so much fun and watching you grow into your own little person has been the highlight. You know that you want to travel the world, go on adventures and save animals when you are older. Daddy and I plan to do everything possible for that to happen. You are so smart and I can see you having great big adventures while changing the world. This year we have gotten to see the start of the amazing woman you will one day become. I am so excited to see what the future holds for you.
You are strong, brave and so very very grand. One of the great gifts God has ever blessed us with. Our life is so much brighter with you around. And of my goodness, you are the best big sister ever. You have endless patients with your little sisters, love to play with them and can be very nurturing. Your sisters are so lucky to have you to help guide them through life.
I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!

Weight: 17lbs 9oz
Hair/Eyes: You are going strong with your crazy gray/blue eyes, but your hair can't seem to decided. I think you may end up as a strawberry blonde. My fingers are crossed that this winter your hair darkens up a little.
Sleep: You are still anti naps and lately want to have a party around 1am. But otherwise you are a great little sleeper.
Food: You tolerate baby food these days and prefer to eat whatever Big Sisters are eating. You love cheerios, noodles, and egg yokes.
Favorites: You love all the fall leaves, pumpkins and of course your lamb. A new favorite is your sister's animal doll. You give the biggest smile when you finally manage to snatch it up.
Dislikes: Anything that confides you is down right awful. You are constantly want to be on the move and anything that stops that is not cool.
Milestones: You are crawling now but only to get to a place where you can stand up. You prefer to walk along furniture and push your walker through the house. You also said your first word on 10/12/15. You looked at me and said "mama!" Yay, your first word was my favorite name! You are also saying "dada" constantly now and "num num.' You also now have three teeth. You are getting so big and so full of personality.

One of my very favorite fall things is the leaves, and lets be honest the best part of those is jumping in giant leaf piles. At our old house, we had leaves scattered everywhere but no room to really rake them. So when we saw this house with the big front yard and huge trees, I was in heaven. I have patiently (mostly) waited for fall and the ability to rake huge leaf piles and the joy that comes with. After a whirlwind trip to visit family this weekend and over 6 hours of drive time, Sunday was destined to be the day. And it was perfect!
Little Button was not a huge fan of the big leaf pile but loved having her own little one. This girl loves all things outdoor and absolutely loves all the leaves.
Everyone pitched in with raking leaves and the big girls even argued over who's turn it was. They were only a smedgin excited! LOL
The take off........ I love how they always start by holding hands!!!!
This picture so defines their personalities lately. Ladybug is all in all the time. She goes full speed with no fear. But little Jozy likes to set things up and follows with a little more caution.
Seriously, the pure childhood joy on their faces was worth the sore arms. They had the best time and loved every minute. When they tired of jumping, Ladybug and I attacked Daddy with leaves. A leaf war followed and giggles could be heard blocks away.
A few more pictures of all the fun........
