15 months

So, I figure for her second year of life, I'll update every three months about all my favorite things.
When she does something new, she looks up with this proud little smile and claps.
She climbs EVERYTHING! I do mean everything. Her favorite spot is on top of the table.
She tries so hard to do what big sisters do.
She is an adrenaline junky already. She loves fast slides and swinging super high!
She will hunt down her snacks and bring them to you, demanding some now!
She loves to dance and has learned the excitement of a good twirl!
She says "cheese" whenever a phone/camera comes out.
She likes to pretend talk to Daddy on the phone.
She loves the trampoline and swing! And has mastered the slide.
She is super curious.
She will jump to you for a hug!
She loves to make people laugh and does the silliest things.
She still wants to be cuddled to sleep.
She loves her baby doll, and my childhood one is her favorite.
She is her own little person and knows exactly what she wants. She's also feisty and determined!
I feel like I woke up one morning to a toddler. She is certainly more toddler than baby these days, but I am loving this new stage. Her spunk and personality are starting to shine through. Happy 15months, Lil Button!

Confessions vol 5

Linking back up for confession Thursday!
I confess.......

I am exhausted this week! We've been getting up early to get Hubbins to work and my days have been filled with a long to do list.

I have a love hate relationship with volunteering at the girls' schools. I love getting to be a part of their days and feel so lucky to have the chance to be therefor them. That being said, it's a lot of work and when it comes to the carnival feels like a 3rd job.

I am a girl mom. I loving having three girls and totally have the girl mom thing down

I am so grateful for the spring rains. I love the cool refreshing feel of a rainstorm.

I am wxhausted mentally and emotionally; but spiritually I feel so light. This has been a good week so far and I'm excited to see what the rest of it has in store.

I also apparently wrote this Wednesday morning thinking it was Thursday!

Day in life

I love day in the life posts and always have such grand expectations of doing one. But in truth each of our days is a little different and a whole lot of crazy. So, I decided to cut myself some slack and do mostly pictures of what today looked like. Here are a few of my favorite moments.....
This girl has the cutest wake up routine. There is a lot of eye rubbing, stretching and soft smiles.
She also has mad skills at waking up sisters!
Don't let the sleepy look fool you. This girl is a morning person.

I love walking Jozy to the bus each morning. Her hand always finds mine and I get the best stories. Today we counted the bus windows and talked about why there were so many.
The middle part of the day was filled with housework, mom's church meeting, a nap and endless errands. So here is Button's favorite part of the day, picking big sisters up from school.
I love that Hubbins gets off right after the girls get out of school. It's so nice to have the afternoons and evenings together n

Since the little ones went to bed early, Hubbins got to sneak in a game with our Bug. I think they both needed the time.
Now kiddos are in bed and we are a about done with random things. The night usually ends with snuggles and Leverage.

Sorry for the super informal blog and iPhone pics. I wanted this post up to look back on, but my mind is circling around a deeper topic.

Confessions vol. 4

I looked forward to this link up all week and I'm so glad to join Jessica again.
I desperately want to organize and deciliter my house, but between our busy schedules and small children it feels a little impossible. Anyone have advice?

My children have way too many clothes and I can't seem to actually get rid of any! I have gone through their closet 3 times and it is still packed full.

I'm a little jealous that we bought my husband and big girls bikes. I know we are getting mine and a bike stroller thing next month, but still.

I have been slacking on my blog lately. I have several in drafts, but am having a hard time committing to posting them.

Ok, I think that's it for now.
